Final day of school run down...

If you like having a jump on the schedule I have the activities and times for June 11th (the last day of school). If you want to join us you absolutely may. PLEASE pack a lunch for your child on the last day of school. We will not be going to the cafeteria to eat and therefore not providing a lunch for them. 

Tentative Schedule: 
8:25 to 9:00 Kinders have their regular morning routine and get ready for the day. 9:00 to 9:30 We all go to the gym for recognition of volunteers and family members,Tom Ruhl awards, and 8th graders. 9:30 to 10:00 Kinder celebration in the classroom! 10:00 to 11:15 Field Day. 11:15 to 12:00 Sack lunches in the classrooms.

The last few days of school!

Due to Scappoose School District schedule differing from SIA, please be aware of the following bus changes:

Monday, June 8 - Normal late-start for SIA - No morning buses from student's homes to SMS. Please drop students off at SMS (in the front of the school) between 8:45-9:05am to board the bus to SIA. 

Tuesday, June 9 - No PM route buses from SMS to homes after school. All students will need to be picked up at SIA (3pm) or SMS (3:25pm). Please let the front office know of any transportation changes by 2pm. 

Wednesday, June 10 - No AM or PM route buses to and from SMS. Students riding the shuttle bus to SIA should be dropped off at SMS between 7:45-8:05am. All students will need to be picked up at SIA (3pm) or SMS (3:25pm). Please let the front office know of any transportation changes by 2pm. 

Thursday, June 11 - No AM or PM route buses to and from SMS. Students riding the shuttle bus to SIA should be dropped off at SMS between 7:45-8:05am. All students will need to be picked up at SIA (12pm) or SMS (12:25pm). Please let the front office know of any transportation changes by 11am. Please note the early release time. 

Important information

Just a reminder: Although Scappoose School District does not have late start on Monday, June 8, SIA still does. Due to the schedule difference, there are no transfer buses in Scappoose. What that means is that if your student is picked up from their home and driven to the SMS bus hub, there is no bus available for them on that day. Please be aware that you must drop off your student at SMS between 8:45am-9:05amto catch the bus to the island. Need to drop your student off early at SIA? Morning care is available for $5/hr per student starting at 7:30am. Please let Ms. Lori know if your child will be joining her. ljaeger@sauvieislandacademy.org
