Have a great winter break!

Hello Everyone,

We made it to our final day before winter break! Yahoo! I threatened to throw a temper tantrum in the principal’s office if I didn’t get to see the kids today. It wasn’t the best example of modeled behavior, but I couldn’t allow us to part without saying a proper goodbye. (Just kidding… or not.)

We all decorated our gingerbread kids today and got to take them home. They are for keeping and not for eating. The kids know this but there is always the chance of amnesia hitting since winter break tends to do that to us. I hope you all enjoy the smell.

Ms. A. is ready to take over the classroom and will be planning many fun things over the break. She has all of your emails and will be in contact soon. The kids really love her and she is such a fantastic teacher that I hope I don’t get forgotten!

We also said goodbye to Isabella and Amalie today. They are both moving to new states and we were very sad to see them go, but gave them hugs and wished them well. Isabella, and her mom, would love it if you want to write to them.  We can write as a whole class, or if you want to send your own personal note you can let me know and we can send it to them. I’m sure both Amalie and Isabella would be so happy to get letters from their friends at SIA.

It broke my heart to say goodbye today. I will do my best to keep you updated and visit when I can. I will miss you all so much.  Have a wonderful break! Keep safe! I will see you soon(ish).

Cheers!
